Nat’s Mission
Nat’s Pet Care and House Sitting, LLC is on a mission to provide the highest quality care for pets and homes with unwavering confidence, clear communication, and genuine personal service across Erie County, Pennsylvania.
When caring for a family, Nat puts pet and home owners at ease by seamlessly stepping into their shoes—treating every pet like her own, tending to every detail with care and concern, and creating a trusted bond that leaves tails wagging and hearts at rest.
Initially, Nat’s Pet Care and House Sitting, LLC (NPC), started out with friends of friends needing a trusted adult with the patience, energy and determination to watch their highly attentive pet and home while on vacation. Through word of mouth, NPC’s primary professional caretaker Natalie Rugare began working closely with other local pet owners to provide similar services.
In February 2023, Natalie became an official limited liability company of Pennsylvania, and attained pet sitters insurance through Insurance of North Carolina. In the meantime, Natalie expanded her clientele across Erie County after completing her certification from American Red Cross in Dog and Cat First Aid.
With the ambition to continue education, Natalie became certified by the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters in May 2024. Through completion of other relevant educational courses, following top pet care industry professionals, self research through accredited books and articles, and experience through work, Natalie strives to continue educating herself in the animal and home care spaces.
